Natural wallcoverings have been a passion since the first roll I ever hung. There's something about bringing nature indoors — the warmth, the texture, the quiet character a woven fibre gives a wall that no printed paper can.

A decade installing these materials across Melbourne, working alongside interior designers, taught me what they already know: natural wallcoverings are at their best when they're trusted to do a whole room, not just a feature wall. It also taught me the unglamorous things — which manufacturers are consistent, which fibres behave, what's worth the money and what isn't.
